Skull Gates

Skull Gates are included in every game mode. They act as portals which teleport the player to a different area or map. Simply walk into one of these gates to teleport.

Uses

Skull Gates are used for different purposes in different game modes.

Skull Gate for Sawmill Entrance

Skull Gate for Sawmill Entrance

In Adventure Mode, these gates are entrances which teleport the player to dungeons. Upon approaching one, the player is greeted with a message, telling them what dungeon they will enter. For example, upon entering Sawmill, golden text appears: "Entrance to Sawmill", along with the dungeon's difficulty rating above.

In King Mode, skull gates teleport the player to another location across the gamemode's map. For example, a gate in the open area will teleport the player to the dirt area. Also there are two red portals which can transfer you into king mode dungeons.

Damageball goal

Damageball goal

In Damageball, there are only two skull gates, one on either side of the map. In Damageball, these gates act as goals, which players can score points in, similar to soccer goals. By tossing or carrying the ball into the opposite team's goal, you will score one point for your team. You cannot enter these gates: they do not teleport the player in this gamemode.

In Battle Royale, skull gates are only present in this gamemode's waiting room. Entering one of these gates will teleport the player to another part of the waiting room map.

Game Mode Gates

There is also another type of gate in Gobattle, called the game mode gate. They have the appearance of a wide, stone edged doorway, with a brick path leading in. These gates teleport the player into a different game mode from the one that they are already in. Game mode gates are included in all game modes.

Gate to King Mode

Gate to King Mode

In Adventure Mode, game mode gates can be found only in Valdoran Castle. By jumping to the upstairs level of the castle, you can access these gates. Here contains a gate to each of the other three Gobattle game modes. The left gate leads to Damageball, center gate to King Mode, and right gate to Battle Royale. On the main floor of the castle, there is also one gate which leads to PvP Combat Arenas. Just to the right, outside Valdoran castle, is a large building with a similar gate: the 'guest' dungeon gate. This gate allows players level 1-10 to access easier, beginner dungeons.

Note: If you enter either the Damageball or Battle Royale gates, you will lose all of the coins and items you currently hold. This does not apply to the King Mode or PvP Combat gates.

In King Mode, there is one game mode gate at the top left of the map, located in the castle area. Entering this gate will teleport you into Adventure Mode. Note: If you are currently the King, you will lose that status if you enter the gate.

In Damageball, there are two game mode gates in either team's base. Entering these gates will teleport you into Adventure Mode.

In Battle Royale, there is one game mode gate at the center left of the waiting room map, in the wooden room. Entering this gate will teleport you into Adventure Mode.

Gates in dungeon

Gates in dungeon are usually use to block the player's way. Usually you can open them by defeating mobs or turning on a lever. There are also gates with keyhole in Bloodmoon Castle which players need to collect keys to open them.
